Finding Balance In The Chaos

It’s been a while, but life has been life, and it’s been busy—surprise, surprise! 😅 I’ve really noticed how much I’ve missed being able to offload here. It’s like a little therapy session, and not journaling has definitely left a gap.

Work has been, well, work. But Scentsy has kept me buzzing with excitement! Lots of behind-the-scenes work, personal development, and of course, new releases that have been keeping me on my toes. I’m absolutely loving Burlesque at the moment, especially as we gear up to start rehearsals for the January show. The excitement is real!

A few friends have checked in on me lately, which has been amazing. I love them so much for thinking of me, especially when I’ve been a bit rubbish at checking in with them. Oops!

On the home front, the kids have been as testing as usual, and Sunday was particularly trying with Xavier. As I suspect he has ADHD, it can be hard to get him to understand things in a "neurotypical" way. Sometimes, my own inability to handle it bubbles over, but we’re making progress. Acknowledging my part in the chaos has been huge, and it means I can work on finding the right tools moving forward. It's a learning curve, but we’re in this together!

Now, as we head into the festive season, I’m gearing up for the Newport Pagnell Christmas Lights! The lights are going up soon, and the big switch-on event is just around the corner! This time of year is hectic, but honestly, it’s my absolute favorite. 🎄✨
